Upon stepping into Fortuna, I was warmly greeted, marking a positive start to our stay. The room exuded cleanliness and comfort, a true reflection of the hotel's commitment to housekeeping. An added convenience was the available hairdryer in the bathroom, a thoughtful touch. The central location of the property, within walking distance to the thermal bath, offered both relaxation and cultural exploration.Despite the aesthetically pleasing recent renovations, breakfast, while satisfying, lacked an exceptional edge. The largest room provided ample space, though the set dinner menu may limit culinary preferences. The value of the hotel lies in its pristine facilities and discounted access to the nearby thermal bath, accentuating its proposition of relaxation over opulence.From a Central European historian's perspective, Fortuna blends history and contemporary comfort, making it a wise choice for those seeking a taste of Hungary's cultural revival without breaking the bank.
